We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
2. Services Description
Khiangte Tours provides travel and tourism services including but not limited to:
- Tour package bookings and arrangements
- Inner Line Permit (ILP) processing and documentation assistance
- Transportation services (airport transfers, local tours, inter-city travel)
- Guided tour services with professional local guides
- Equipment and gear rentals
- Accommodation booking assistance
- Travel insurance processing
- Additional travel-related services
All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email or booking reference number from us.
3.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment or a deposit (as specified at the time of booking) is required to confirm your reservation
- Payment must be completed within the timeframe specified in your booking confirmation
- We accept payments through our secure payment gateway (Razorpay/Stripe) and other methods as specified
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed
3.3 Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are subject to change. Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking. Prices may vary based on season, availability, and other factors. Additional charges may apply for special requests or modifications.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our booking portal. The following cancellation charges apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: 10% cancellation fee
- 15-30 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
- 7-14 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 7 days before departure: No refund
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method.
4.2 Cancellation by Khiangte Tours
We reserve the right to cancel any tour or service due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or force majeure events
- Government restrictions or travel advisories
- Insufficient bookings
- Safety concerns
In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date, subject to availability.
4.3 No-Show Policy
If you fail to show up for a confirmed booking without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided.
5. Travel Documents and Permits
It is your responsibility to ensure you have all necessary travel documents, including:
- Valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)
- Inner Line Permit (ILP) for Mizoram, if required
- Any other permits or documents required for your specific tour or activities
While we provide assistance with permit processing, we cannot guarantee approval. Permit applications are subject to government regulations and approval processes beyond our control.
Failure to obtain required permits or documents may result in cancellation of your booking without refund. We recommend applying for permits well in advance of your travel date.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during booking
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and local customs
- Respect the environment, local communities, and cultural sites
- Follow safety instructions provided by our guides and staff
- Maintain appropriate behavior during tours and activities
- Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements that may affect your participation
- Carry valid identification and required permits at all times
- Take responsibility for your personal belongings and valuables
We reserve the right to refuse service or remove participants from tours if they engage in disruptive, dangerous, or illegal behavior, without refund.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Limitation of Liability
Khiangte Tours acts as an intermediary between you and service providers (hotels, transportation companies, guides, etc.). We are not liable for:
- Loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings
- Injuries, accidents, or health issues during tours
- Delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond our control
- Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
- Natural disasters, weather conditions, or force majeure events
- Government actions, travel restrictions, or permit denials
7.2 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies and hospitalization
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Baggage loss or delay
- Personal accident and liability
- Emergency evacuation
While we offer travel insurance processing services, you are responsible for ensuring adequate coverage for your trip.
7.3 Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
8. Changes and Modifications
8.1 Changes by Customer
Modification requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Changes must be requested at least 7 days before the scheduled departure date. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests but cannot guarantee changes.
8.2 Changes by Khiangte Tours
We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, transportation, or other services due to:
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Safety concerns
- Unforeseen circumstances
- Operational requirements
We will notify you of significant changes as soon as possible and provide suitable alternatives when available.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Khiangte Tours website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Khiangte Tours or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our express written permission.

12. Force Majeure
Khiangte Tours shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, or extreme weather
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or political instability
- Government actions, travel bans, or restrictions
- Pandemics, epidemics, or health emergencies
- Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions
- Acts of God or other unforeseeable events
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or refunds as appropriate.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision.
